Narcisse - The Original!!

(Okay.. my REAL name is Aprille)

Thought I may as well dedicate this page to MYSELF, since no one knows anything about me anyway, and since all my other pages are full of OTHER garbage that no one cares about.

Well, since I had a bunch of new stuff up here, and I made the mistake of overwriting the fucking file, with an OLDER file... I guess I have to start from scratch.

I am a Virgo. And I'm 21. I own (or am owned BY) two ferrets, Zaire & Baijan. Zaire is about 6 months old now. He is a MF ferret, male, gorgeous Silvermitt. I've had Zaire since he was a lil' baby, at about 8 weeks olds. Baijan is a ferret I rescued from a neglectful home. He is about 2.5 years old now. He is also a MF ferret, a gorgeous black sable. And I have a cat, about 5 months old. His name is George, he's an orange & white tiger. And I think he is possessed by demons or something. George should be doing the fucking Energizer commercials, instead of that stupid rabbit.

I will be going to college at Kutztown University this spring, majoring in Biology. Yiippeee!! (I think).

I need a job!! So, please hire me!! ;)

I have a pretty nice pc, a Dell Pentium 233. But I think it needs its hard drive re-formatted, because it likes to crash a lot, especially when I am doing something REALLY important. And especially if I haven't saved that important thing.

I grew up in Central New York, the most wonderful place in the world =) Well, actually that's a lie. I was born in Waterloo, NY. But my family & I lived in PA until I was about 8. Then my parents divorced and mother & I moved to Marseilles, IL. We lived there for about 1.5 years, and then moved to Cayuga, NY. I then lived in Cayuga until I was 18. I went to high school at Union Springs Central School. Some of my high school buddies were: Jason Flanders, Mary Farrell, Connie Palega, Anthony Battaglia (did I say raisin??). I still talk to Jason & Connie, but who knows where the others are! =)

Mary & I played a lot of tricks on people. The most memorable would be the "Chocolate Milk." I also was fortunate enough to be part of an illegal "newsletter" for our school. I was in charge of the "Ask Amy" sex column. But I got busted for distributing pornographic literature on school grounds. Guess they couldn't deal with issues of S&M, bondage, and kinky sex acts. =)That was something like 5 extended detentions for me (just shy of being suspended). During my high school years I attained the nick, Pokey Hoover... stemming from the fact that I had dated a guy who'd been in jail =) But I won't get into that any further... I was also called Le, and Amy Fischer. I had this obsession with seducing older men. I even wrote a story based on my seductive tendencies & fantasies. Let me just say, the guys who read that never looked at me in the same way again ;) I got myself into some awkward situations, for sure, with that wild personality of mine.

On another note, I was an avid roller-skater during my high school & early college days. You could always find me at the Finger Lakes Mall Skating Rink on Friday & Saturday nights from 7pm - 12am. And sometimes I was there Wednesday nights as well! Gave me a chance to stalk men =) Of course you needed to have that perfect skating music to really make the night worth while. And without a doubt, my favorites would have to be the Sugar Hill Gang (Rapper's Delight, 8th Wonder), Newcleus (Jam On It), Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five, Melle Mel. Plus, I could never resist 2 Live Crew's "Me So Horny" & "The Fuck Shop." Really, any music with a great beat will suffice.

I graduated from USCS in 1994. Glad to be outta there, though I miss the fun we used to have. I started college that following August. Went to Cayuga County Community College in Auburn, NY. I began my studies concentrating on Biology/Chemistry. Wanted to be a psychiatrist, so I needed to get some background for med. school. I studied Biological Principles I, General Chemistry I, Introduction to Psychology, Freshman English I, a course on Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco, & Racquetball I. I also worked as a Math Tutor, helping out fellow students, giving out exams, correcting exams, filing test papers.

In December 1994 I moved to Allentown, PA and registered for January classes at Cedar Crest College. At Cedar Crest I pointed my major towards Genetic Engineering. I was starting to be fascinated with Cloning & the like. (I love all that kooky stuff) There, I studied Principles of Biology II, Introduction to Culture & Society, Survey of European Civilization & Culture, and Calculus II. (I had to take all those crappy courses that had nothing to do with anything, only because I registered late & could not get into the courses I wanted.) I attempted a Chemical Equilibrium & Analysis course, but it was way too difficult and I withdrew from it after a few weeks of struggling. Cedar Crest College was a big disappointment. It was an all women's college, and it was extremely difficult & demanding. Too much stress. And besides, I couldn't afford the $7,000 - $10,000 a SEMESTER!! The education I got lacked so much, I learned more at the community college without a doubt. I worked in the College Relations Office at Cedar Crest for about a month ( I QUIT!!). It sucked! I was in charge of answering phones, sending faxes, making copies, running errands... blah!!I got another job in February, for Crystal Water Treatment Company in Bath, PA. I was a telemarketer (double blah!) and I did very well for the first few months... then I got fired around December =)

The next semester I transferred out of that hell hole, and enrolled at Lehigh Carbon Community College. The students & faculty here were warm & open, not like the rich, stuck up, snobby environment at Cedar Crest. At LCCC, I studied Anatomy & Physiology I, General Chemistry II, Psychology of Human Adjustment, Introduction to Computer Science- Structured/OO Programming I & II, College Spanish I & II, Principles of Economics, College English II and Calculus & Analytical Geometry III. I stuck with Biology as my major, but after taking the C++ courses, I started to fall in love with programming. I then decided to change my major to Computer Science, and become a Programmer. I studied for a full year at LCCC, then I decided it was time to get my butt into a University. I registered at Kutztown University for the fall semester. During the Christmas Season I worked at Sears Portrait Studio... big mistake =) If you do not like screaming, crying, snotty nosed kids, & their bitchy, impatient parents, NEVER work for a portrait studio. It was a nightmare. And I was so glad when it ended (I was only temporary help). I did enjoy using the cameras & stuff though, that was fun. I also worked at LCCC as a tutor for math & computer related subjects.

At Kutztown, I took up more CIS courses, filling my days with them. Here I studied Data Structures, Information Systems Theory & Practice, Computer Organization and Hardware, Statistics, Russian I, and Racquetball. But I ran into problems with "horrible" instructors, and fell back down again. Don't ever take a class with Linda Day... she's a C**T. She was the most horrendous instructor I ever had!! So, anyway, I ended up dropping Data Structures, with Professor Day. I couldn't stand her or her class, and she was no help what-so-ever. (If you ask me, she outta be fired....) But I did stick with all the other classes, and passed them all with flying colors =)

In January 1997 I moved to Dallas, TX. (Which I hate with a passion, and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy) I started work with a company called GTESS Corporation. And other than the fact that I am treated like a 3-year-old, I enjoy working here. What really irritated me was that we needed to turn in comprehensive reports of what we did with ourselves every minute of every 9 hour day. And this reporting S**T only applied to myself & the one other girl who worked with me, in the "Service Bureau Dept." (Totally crock of Bull S**T). But since our supervisor quit, we haven't had to turn in anything. =) I basically work for the Missouri State Highway Patrol. They send us the officer's dailies (kind of like time sheets), and we have to scan approximately 5000 a day (give or take). Then we let our OCR software process these images & it extracts the data off the images and creates text type validation files of all the information. Then I would go through, and using the same software, correct/verify the information on the validation file. After that is finished I go through a process of combining all the data & images and I write it to CD. And then we ship off the original paper documents & the CD back to the MSHP.

Living in Dallas with a full-time job & no car prevented me from taking any classes. I would have really liked to be able to take courses in Java, Visual C++, and other CIS type courses. But I found that I didn't have the time or opportunity to get it done at that point in time. So, I took the spring semester off from schooling.

These cute little cats are from my Catz Computer Petz. This cat's name is Nemo (yes, named after my ferret). As you can see, he likes to chase, torture & eat mice. =)
Yeah, ALL these pages were created by lil' ol' me. Go take a look!! =)
